A.- Checking your understandings.

Chapters 1-3. Write answers to these questions.

1.- Why wasn´t the girls´ father ta home that Chistmas? Because he was in the war.

2.- Why did Mrs Hummel almost cry with hapiness? Because the girls were helping to her poor family.

3.-What happened to Meg´s hair before the New Year´s Eve party?  Jo was making curls to Meg and leaving the hair to the hot utensil for so long her hair burned and it fell off.

B Working with the language.

When the telegram brought the news about Mr March´s ilness, everbody hurried to help get ready.

Mrs March said she would leave for Washintong at once.

She was gone a long time, because she wanted to do something to help her father and Jo went out to fetch some thingsfrom the shops.

She had cut off and sold her lovely long hair but when she come back, she had twenty-five dollars to give her mother.

C Actitvities

1.- When Mr March comes home, he thinks that his daughters have changed. In what ways do you think are different? Write a few sentences about each of the four, describing the changes.

Beth is less shy for play the piano on Laurie´s grandfather house.

Meg is more responsible and mature.

Jo is more brave because persue her dreams.

Amy is more gentily and truthful.

2.- Imagine you are Aunt March. When you get home, you feel sorry that you were angry with Meg about Meg about Jonh Brooke. Write her a letter, trying to be friendly, but also warning her that money is very important.


Dear Meg,


I´m so sorry for my behaviour, you can marry with Mr Brook if he makes you feel happy butI´m worried about you because the money is important in the all lifes and I fear for you future.
Darling I think in your future. I´m next to you always.

3.-Jo and Laurie will meet again in three years, after Laurie has been to college. Write about 150 words, saying what you think will happen to them.

I think 3 things:


Option 1:

He arrive with the ilusion for see his love, Jo.
But she is an importan author in New York and she has a husband.
He is happy for her but he is sad because is crazy in love for her.
Spend a few months of this and fall in love for another woman.
He has childrens and is happy.
Jo and Laurie are good friends.                                                                                             

Option 2:

He arrive and feel emotion for see Jo again, he is crazy in love  of  Jo.
But she doesn´t know anything.
One day he sas his feelings, and Jo feel the same.
They marry and form a beautiful family.

Option 3:

Laurie arrive and Jo feel a fiend love but the young man no.

He is in love of Jo. He says his feelings but she say that is impossible because she loves him like a friend anymore.
He is sad but he feel love for Amy. And he marry wirh her, Jo marry with other man.
All people are happy at the end.
